Description

Pictorial relief from the ceiling (good-omen slab 2) of the shrine of Wu Liang (78-151) at the Wu Family Shrines, Jiaxiang, Shandong. Here, three registers of relief (mostly damaged) depicting various auspicious omens, including the jade flower (identified by its cartouche), intertwining trees, glass bi 璧, dark gui 珪, birds joined at the wing, fish joined at the eye, and the silver jar; the birth of Hou Ji 后稷, and the arrival of the Qusou 渠搜; and standing figures, a chariot, and horses.
此祥瑞圖第二石。此拓原石配置在武梁祠屋頂之後坡,石已裂為三,此三碎石合拓本。
