Description

Rubbings of a lead matrix for a mold for round coins of the daquan wushi type, dating from the Xin dynasty of Wang Mang 王莽 (r. 9-23). Includes rubbings of recto and verso of matrix.
范作梅花狀，笵底有“庶人大安樂”五篆字。拓本有陳介祺手書題記“漢大泉五十鉛笵，背有庶人大安樂五字，五泉背面文”，“光緒辛巳[1881]十二月簠齋收”。
