Description

Inscription on a bell cast by Suoshaci 所沙刺, general who settles remote regions (anyuan jiangjun 安遠將軍) and battalion administrator (zhiqianhu 知千戶), Yelü Wei 耶律威, and others, in Jiangling, Jingzhou, during the Zhenyuan era (1153-56).
原標籤置於唐貞元(785-805)，而鐘文云景州將陵縣。官名又有知千戶，人名作耶律姓，且不避“民”字，則此貞元當為金海陵王年號，非唐貞元。
