Description

The biography of Ji An (d. 112 B.C.) from Sima Qian's 司馬遷 Shiji 史記, in the calligraphy of Zhao Mengfu. This rubbing includes a colophon, by Da Chongguang 笪重光 (1623-92), which identifies the engraving as one made for an anthology of models of calligraphy compiled by Li Zongkong 李宗孔, the Lishu lou zhengzi tie.
