Description

The "Lanting xu" of Wang Xizhi; this rubbing taken from Wang Yangdu's 王養度 engraving of a Kaihuang era (581-600) inscription of the preface. This album also includes rubbings of colophons by Dong Qichang 董其昌 (1555-1636) and Wang Yangdu (dated 1836). This engraving is considered by some to be a forgery.
此拓原為海寧查氏所藏開皇本。啟功以為係後人偽刻。
