Description

The "Lanting xu" of Wang Xizhi; this rubbing taken from a Zhenguan era (627-49) engraving of Ouyang Xun's copy of the preface. Engraving unearthed during the Zhengtong era (1436-49). This album also includes Liu Mingyu's (fl. 1747) handwritten transcriptions of colophons by Zhang Yuanbian (1538-88) and He Shiying (fl. 1436).
拓本前有乾隆十二年(1747)劉鳴玉抄錄明人張元忭跋，二頁，行書；末有乾隆十二年劉鳴玉手抄明正統元年何士英蘭亭序跋，六頁，行書。拓本末行另有“定武二榻衛步雲寶藏”字樣。此石拓已斷為五，應為明末清初以後拓本。
