Description

Votive inscription concerning dedication of an image of the Buddha of Medicine 藥師 by Du Wenqiang and others, on behalf of the empress Wu Zetian 武則天 (r. 684-705), their wives, and seven generations of their forebears, during the Tianshou era (690-92). Sides and back of the base holding the image (Tsa 125 (7)-13) only.
