Description

Votive inscription concerning dedication of an image of Sakyamuni by the mendicant nun Tanle, on behalf of her late nephew, Lü Luohou 吕羅睺, and others, during the Jiande era (572-78). This rubbing also includes a colophon by Ruan Yuan (1764-1849) dated 1805.
三面刻。有阮元嘉慶十年(1805)題記“此宇文周武帝時造像石也。揚州阮氏得自陝西嵌置文選樓壁間”。據《補寰宇訪碑錄》此石已毀。新259(2)為冊二，高34.6厘米，寬27.3厘米，為趙之謙舊藏本。
