Description

Votive inscription concerning dedication of images of the Buddha and the bodhisattvas and the construction of a temple by the priest Hongbao of Wusheng si 務聖寺, on behalf of his patron, Zhang Fashou 張法壽, and his patron's sons, Zhang Rongqian 張榮遷 and Zhang Xiuhe 張脩和, who donated the stone for the images and the land for the temple, during the Tianping era (543-37). Includes rubbing of one image, probably from one face (of four) of the ornamental stone pillar (chuang 幢) on which the reliefs were originally carved.
拓本右為佛像,高41厘米,寬21.2厘米,左為銘記。此應為幢銘,四面刻像銘,今僅存一。
