Description

Votive inscription concerning dedication of an image of Sakyamuni by the novice Faning, on behalf of his parents and spiritual teachers, at Longmen during the Northern Wei. This leaf also includes autograph inscriptions added by Liu Quanfu and Zhao Zhiqian (1829-84).
拓本右有收藏者所題“法興造像，永平四年(511)九月。又法寧造像係一石。子重贈”字。新258(38)同。此拓較佳。案子重即劉銓福字。此拓並有趙之謙簽題。
