Description

Tomb inscription of Wang Yan (469-543) of Taiyuan 太原, governor of Bohai. Includes title inscription. This rubbing also includes two postscripts dated 1875, one by Jiang Zhaolin and one by Dai Jie, the latter concerning the discovery of the stone.
篆額“魏故□□□王君墓銘”，趙萬里謂為“魏故勃海□王君墓銘”。字體正書而雜篆筆。後有光緒元年戴杰題記及江肇麟題字。案此拓無光緒五年余家鼎觀款，其拓應在此年之前。
