Description

Stele inscription recording construction of a bodhimandala on Tiantai shan by the great master Zhizhe (Zhiyi 智顗, 538-97), founder of the Tiantai sect. Includes title inscription. This rubbing taken from a Yuanhe era (806-20) engraving.
前三頁為篆額“修禪道場碑銘”。
