Description
Stele inscription by Yan Zhenqing recording sponsorship of a monastic meal for Buddhist monks by Xu Xiang 徐向, prefect of Songzhou, and the civilian and military inhabitants of the prefecture, who had assembled the monks to chant for the recovery of Tian Shengong 田神功 (d. 776), then ill; in Yan's calligraphy. Includes title inscription. Originally erected in 772, the stone was reerected by Cui Zhuo 崔倬, prefect of Songzhou, in 851.
碑實為石幢，八面刻。原立於大曆七年，後因會昌廢佛被推倒，大中五年（851）正月間崔倬再立石。“國公顏”、“瞻仰魯”六字存。清乾隆拓本。
