Description

Inscription by Tang Gaozong extolling the merit and achievement of Taizong 太宗 (r. 627-49) in his capture of Dou Jiande 竇建德 (573-621); written at Dengci si, Fanshui 氾水, while the emperor was touring Wuzhou 武州 and Zhengzhou 鄭州, the site of Dou's defeat. In the emperor's script. Includes title inscription, in "flying white" script (feibaishu 飛白書).
此拓分裝兩冊，與新391號同盒，盒蓋有日人香□逸民明治九年(1877)題記十二行，草書。並鈐“薌齋”印一枚。拓本末有“□洲沈博桂同觀”字，隸書。額飛白書“大唐紀功之頌”。此拓剪裁後已有落字。盒內籖條題記云“貫名菘翁舊藏。明治卅四年[1091]五月廿五日所得”。
