Description

Inscription from the Jinci, the shrine outside Taiyuan dedicated to Shu Yu 叔虞 (fl. 1024-1005 B.C.); the inscription was composed and copied out by Tang Taizong while visiting the shrine to offer sacrifice in 646. Includes title inscription, in "flying white" script (feibaishu 飛白書).
