Description

Votive inscription concerning dedication of a niche for an image of the Buddha by Li Tai 李泰 (618-52), prince of Wei 魏, on behalf of the empress Zhangsun 長孫, at Longmen in 641; in the calligraphy of Chu Suiliang. Includes title inscription.
前三頁為額，正書“伊闕佛龕之碑”六字。又名《三龕記》，為摩崖。“鹽梅”二字不損，應為道光時拓本。
