Description

Stele commemorating the establishment of Dengci si, Fanshui 氾水, by Tang Taizong 太宗 (r. 627-49), on behalf of the souls of those slain in battle, after the defeat of Wang Shichong 王世充 (d. 621) and Dou Jiande 竇建德 (573-621) at the Fan River 氾水 in Zhengzhou 鄭州; in the calligraphy of Yan Shigu. This rubbing also includes an inscription by Shao Tang dated 1822.
缺碑額。末行有道光二年(1822)邵堂題記拓文。此為道光以後稍舊本，十三行“焉”字損，首行“司牧”二字完好。
