Description

Inscription extolling the virtue of Guo Ju 郭巨, one of the twenty-four exemplars of filial piety; written by Shen Siyong, an attendant in the entourage of Hu Changren, prince of Longdong, who passed by the funerary shrine of Guo Ju while traveling through Pingyin 平陰, Shandong, and was so moved by the memory of Guo's virtue that he ordered the inscription. This album also includes a handwritten colophon added by Wu Yun (1811-83).
後三頁附開元廿三年(735)七月十五日楊傑題記，此拓另有吳雲手寫題記一則。原有額，此本缺。
