Description

Votive inscription concerning dedication of a nine-storied stupa by the mendicant Faya and the members of a Buddhist sodality--one thousand donors in all--on belhalf of Xiaowendi 孝文帝 (r. 471-99) of the Northern Wei, during the Zhengshi era (504-8). This album also includes a rubbing of a postscript (dated 585) added by Yang Fagui at the time of the stone's removal from its original site.
此石在汲縣東北二十餘里周灣田間，民國七年(1918)春得之，下截為隋開皇五年(585)楊法貴移石題記。
