Description

Stele inscribed with epitaph of Xia Cheng (115-70), magistrate of Chunyu in Beihai commandery. This rubbing taken from a later engraving, probably the recarving commissioned by Tang Yao during the Jiajing era (1522-66).
此拓本無明嘉靖乙巳(二十四年，1545)唐曜題記。文內“勤約”作“勤紹”，應係唐曜嘉靖時(1522-1566)重刻本。
