Description

Stele inscribed with the epitaph of Heng Fang (106-68), chamberlain of the court for the palace garrison. This album also includes a handwritten colophon added by Shen Shuyong (1832-73) in 1870. Collectors' seals and a handwritten annotation on the album's label indicate that this rubbing was once in the possession of Sun Xingyan 孫星衍 (1753-1818).
此拓裝裱籖題作“孫淵如觀察故物，梅巖得于沈氏”，下鈐“漢陽萬中立印”一枚，蓋此拓原屬孫星衍。後為沈樹鏞(均初)所得，萬中立(梅巖)又得之於沈氏。此拓缺額。印鑑有“漢陽萬中立印”、“廕父”、“沈樹鏞”、“之謙印信”、“松江沈樹鏞收藏印記”、“孫星衍印”、“芝閣審定”、“五松居士”、“鄭齋藏本”、“沈樹鏞校勘金石文字印記”。
