Description

Inscriptions and pictorial reliefs from the three memorial pillars (que) of Songshan, Henan—the memorial pillars of the peaks Taishi and Shaoshi and of Kaimu miao—commemorating sacrifices made to the spirit of the mountain. This album also includes handwritten colophons by Wu Yun 吳雲 (1811–83) and others.
案嵩山三闕漢刻全套計包含：太室闕銘(前銘)、太室闕額、太室闕潁川太守題名(又稱後銘)、少室闕銘、少室闕額、少室東闕江孟題名、開母廟闕銘、少室闕後月兔搗臼及蟾蜍圖九種。本冊除開母廟闕銘上層外，大致完全，堪稱嵩山三闕全拓本。惟本冊係合冊，各銘間之椎拓時間不一，且椎拓、裝裱良莠不齊。有道光十四年(1834)徐楙、同治元年(1862)吳雲及宣統元年(1909)王瓘跋
