Description

Inscription by Song Zhenzong commemorating performance of the feng 封 and shan 禪 sacrifices at Taishan during the Dazhong xiangfu era (1008–16), and recounting the merit and achievements of Song Taizu 太祖 (r. 960–76) and Song Taizong 太宗 (r. 976–97) in expanding the borders of the state and settling the empire. This rubbing represents the third of the inscription’s five stones.
原石有五，此本僅四拓，且缺額。
