Description

Mountainside inscription recording initial construction of a grotto temple by the dharma master Fang 方 and its completion by the dharma master Chou 稠, accompanied by a portion of juan 12 (“Shengxing pin” 聖行品) of the Mahaparinirvana-sutra 大般涅槃經 and a gatha from the Avatamsaka-sutra 華嚴經; the votive inscription and the sutras were both dedicated by disciples of Chou’s during the Qianming era (560).
此為摩崖石刻。為《華嚴經》偈贊及《大般涅槃經.聖行品》。
