Description

Inscriptions from the memorial pillar (que) of Kaimu miao on Songshan, Henan, commemorating sacrifices made to the spirit of the mountain. This rubbing includes the lower portion of the inscription only. Attached to one end of this rubbing is a rubbing of the pictorial relief depicting the hare in the moon pounding the elixir of immortality.
此拓為開母廟石闕銘下層，前別有十一行，行七字之題名，連銘文二十四行，總計三十五行。其後有月兔搗臼畫像。
