Mesore epagomenai 5th, in Tebtunis in the Polemon district of the Arsinoite nome. [Eirenaios] son of Hippalos, Persian of the Epigone, about … years old, [with a] … on the right side of his forehead, agrees with his brother Chrates, born of the same father and mother, about … [years old, with a] … on the right forearm, that he has from the same [Chrates] … two hundred eighty-four [drachmas] of minted silver [on deposit] free of all risk and all reduction, which [Eirenaios] shall also return … [whenever] Chrates chooses, without any delay or subterfuge.
