Translation: In the seventeenth year of Imperator Caesar Titus Aelius Hadrianus Antoninus Pius, Payni 3, in Tebtunis in the Polemon district of the Arsinoite nome. Sarapias, about twenty, scarless, with her guardian, her father … also known as …, about forty-eight, with a scar on his right (?) …, agrees with Herakles son of Kal…, about forty-seven, with a scar on his left hand, that she has received from said Herakles hand-to-hand the one hundred twenty silver drachmas and the interest which he owed her according to a loan agreement drawn up through this same grapheion in the seventeenth year of Antoninus Augustus in the month of Thoth (?), and which she has now returned to him as invalid and Sarapias will not proceed against Herakles as specified. (2nd h.?) I, Sarapias, with my guardian my father … have received from Herakles the one hundred twenty drachmas and the interest which he owed me according to a contract and will not proceed … (1st h.?) … at the record-office of Tebtunis.
