Receipt issued to the guards of the wharf of the Sacred Grove at Arsinoe and the sitologi by a pilot, acknowledging the lading of 19 1/2 artabae of wheat.
Translation: Sarapias son of Sarapion through his brother Dionysios (?) son of Sarapion, shipper of 1 boat with a capacity of -- artabas, to the guards of the wharf of the Sacred Grove of the metropolis and to the sitologoi of the metropolis. I have put on board beginning on the 29th day of the month Mesore of the present 7th year from the produce of the 7th year from the said metropolis, of wheat that is pure, unadulterated, without earth or barley, and sifted by public measure according to the prescribed measurement, the daily amount of which is appended: on the 29th -; on the 30th 19 1/2 artabas. Total 19 1/2 artabas.
