Ammonios, contractor for the kerkouros of Polykrates, of … burden, acknowledges embarkation at the harbor of Kerke for conveyance to Alexandria to the royal granary, from the produce of the 20th year, through Bakchios and Ammonios, sitologoi of the store at Hiera Nesos, with the controllers, of five thousand five hundred and fifty-six artabas of olyra paid as rent and for transport by the supplementary vessel, total 5556 art., by measure tested with the bronze measure, and with fair and just smoothing-rod, clean and sifted; and I make no complaint. Stotoetis son of Gemouthes, of Memphis, wrote at the bidding of Ammon(ios), since he is illiterate.
