Log or twig border. Double sheet. Handwritten letter on 2 leaves dated Dec. 23, 1854, French Gulch, and signed Joseph S[?] Peely. For related print see 1963.002:0069--B. Near duplicate of 1963.002:0091--B, with slight variation in rules forming inner image borders. Another variant at 1963.002:092--A, with variant border and imprint placement.
This copy: damage includes old tape mend at corner and brown paper adhered to lower central image.
