Bill Swearingen was a falconer that spent time tracking falcon nests in the East Bay Regional Park District. In this interview, he discusses his early life in Portland, Oregon, education at the University of Oregon, early interest in birds, becoming involved with falconry in his twenties, spending time at sites in the EBRPD, memorable people he met in the parks, his work to preserve falcon populations, and educating his children and young students on falconry.
