Description

Rob Edwards is an archeaologist who led field trips for his students in the East Bay Regional Park District. He was born in Denver, Colorado in 1938. He moved to San Francisco while he was in high school and attended City College and San Francisco State University. He taught at Cabrillo College and led field trips in Coyote Hills to different archaeological sites. In this interview, he discusses his early life, education, interest in archaeology, involvement with the East Bay Regional Park District and Beverly Ortiz, and work on Ohlone Shellmounds.
