Description
Phyllis Massino was born in The Bronx, New York and grew up in Throgs Neck, New York during the Great Depression. She worked as a dressmaker before working as a welder at G&G during the war, where she met her husband. She discusses her early life, memories of the start of WWII, involvement with the USO, feelings of patriotism, and her time working in a factory with her husband, as well as their life together after the war.
