Description
Daniel [Danny] Goldstine was a graduate student in Psychology, having first come to Berkeley as an undergraduate in 1958. In this interview Goldstine discusses the politicizing effect of the anti-HUAC demonstrations on the Cal campus and the evolution of radical politics. He provides keen insights into the leadership of FSM, the influence of Mike Tigar and Carey McWilliams, the legacy of Clark Kerr’s philosophy of higher education and many of the era’s “small infinitesimal events that can determine history.”
