Bert Carp received his J.D. from Stanford University in 1968. He served as Deputy Assistant for Domestic Affairs to President Jimmy Carter from 1977 to 1981. Previously, he served as Legislative Counsel to Senator Walter Mondale. In this interview, Carp discusses the domestic policy process and key pieces of legislation during the Carter administration.
