J. Wallin Smoke is an entrepreneur, specializing in alcoholic beverage and cannabis distribution. In 1988, Smoke earned an undergraduate agricultural business degree from Cornell University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University in 1993. He went on to manage and start several wine and liquor distribution companies and is currently the CEO of Vertical Wellness, a company focusing on CBD products. Wallin was interviewed for the documentary “America’s Wine: The Legacy of Prohibition” and in this interview, he discusses the failures of the 21st amendment, Prohibition’s long term impact on alcohol regulations, and the American wine market.
