Jim Johnson was born in Oklahoma in 1934 and joined the Navy in 1960. After his time in the military, Johnson worked at Matson and taught Commerce, Industry, and Labor at Golden Gate University. Johnson was then pursued to take a job at the OAB as the base educational services officer, which held through the 1970s. In this interview, Johnson discusses educational programs for enlisted personnel stationed at the OAB.
