Description

Geraldine Mosby was a California vintner who ran the Mosby Winery in the San Ynez Valley alongside her husband Bill. After moving from Washington to California in 1959, Mosby and her husband planted their first grapes in 1971 and founded their winery at the Rancho de la Vega, a San Ynez property, in 1979. In this interview, Mosby discusses wine making in the Santa Barbara area, different varietals used in their vineyards, bottling and distribution, and the differences between Southern California and the Napa Valley.
