Eleanor Wagner was a Californian political activist and leader. Born in New York in 1917, Wagner moved to Los Angeles, California in 1932 and became involved in neighborhood politics in the early 1940s. She served as the executive secretary for the California Legislative Conference from 1947 until 1956 and as the administrative secretary of Californians for Liberal Representation between the years of 1962 and 1972.
