Note
Full title: Ross Landing (now Kentfield), painted from the present site of the College of Marin. The tripod held a boom which swung piled lumber cut in Baltimore Canyon onto barges bound for San Francisco. The bridge in the picture has been replaced by a concrete bridge; this picture proves that the College of Marin was not built at Ross Landing, says Roy Graves, but about four blocks away. [By Henri Chevalier. 1883?]
