View across cutover area near camp 21 on Luffenholtz Creek. T8, N1E, Sec. 20, Humboldt Meridian. The timber in this picture was short and not of very good quality some of it being spike topped, and with large percentage of rot. A fire about 5 years ago killed pratically all of the Douglas fir, hemlock, and pine. Hammond Lumber Company, Humboldt County. 5/19/15.
