Title
The extreme southwest corner of Clay Station eucalyptus groves on highway about 2 miles east of Herald Station. Land here is said to worth about $75.00 per acre. Some of the eucalyptus has sold for $35.00 per acre and costs $40.00 to clear. Hardpan underlies all this ground at depth of 2-4 ft. Grain crops can be grown only every other year and grasshoppers are a serious pest. July 1922.
