Title
Showing method of piling lumber from sorting table. This section of table is between span of travelling crane (supports on left shown in photo). Lumber is handled in units of about 800'-1000' each; each unit being made up in bins as shown in foreground. When a bin is full and unit is this large enough, crane carries off the unit and piles it somewhere along the yard between the crane runway. Union Lumber Company, Ft. Bragg, California. May, 1920. E.
