Description

This silent, color film contains footage of a family road trip to Yosemite National Park, Mission 66, the high desert and the San Francisco Bay Area. There are shots of road building in Yosemite, as well as a sign for Tioga Mine Road. The film shows a drive through the redwoods and the 'Tunnel Tree'. Also in the film is a crossing of the Bay Bridge, as well as footage of signs for Tanaya Lake and Tuolumne Meadows. There is also logging footage, views of Arch Rock, a Yavapai Lookout sign, and views of a Mission 66 Project Mather Area of Grand Canyon Village.
