Description
This silent, color film contains footage of a family camping trip. The film begins with title cards showing the film was made by the Sierra Club, and shows a family outing with Doris, Frances, and Betty Leonard, as well as Elsbeth Foster. The film goes on to show young children and an adult walking in the woods, with donkeys hauling their camping supplies. Various flowers can be seen in bloom as well as several animals including frogs and dragonflies. The film also shows a woman cooking at a campfire, as well as shots of the supplies the family brought with them. The girls can be seen hiking, fishing, eating, and exploring nature in this film. The film ends with scenic views of the girls roasting marshmallows.
