Description
This silent, color film contains a hiking expedition with Sierra Club members and Brower family in North Cascades National Park, and Glacier Peak in Washington. The film begins with footage of blooming flowers, creeks with flowing water, and waterfalls in the North Cascades. Later on people can be seen playing horseshoes, swimming in a small lake, and setting up their campsites. The filmmaker also shows beautiful footage of flowers and wildlife in the area. People can also be seen playing with a makeshift raft and hiking in the wilderness and snowy mountains. There are landscape views of Glacier Peak and other mountains in the area, with snow on them. Later on people can be seen cutting firewood, and playing cards in a tent on a rainy day. The film mostly contains views of the natural landscape and people walking in it. At the end of the film there is footage of people entering a boat called "Lady of the Lake".
