Title
Redwood Utilization Study. Redwood breakage study, 1928. Illustrating how rough ground is "leveled up". This -- a 7 foot tree -- stood just below a break in the slope. In order to make its 250' of length strike in as many places as possible, the stump was cut so high that the next point of contact was the log, and the next point the point of the hill. E. F. June 20, 1928.
