Redwood. Natural seedling, on shoulder of old redwood highway - 0.6 miles south of Myers. Area #1698. A volunteer stand of seedlings on road shoulder made in 1938. Tree 1611C is on edge of road to left center. (See also #6927.) About 200 seedlings of redwood plus, in an area of 5' x 20'. Seedling to right of stake is 28" high, with 1941 growth of 15". For future observation. 7-2-41. E.F.
