Reno Quadrangle, near Tahoe Forest , Nevada. Looking south to Peavine Peak. Hewn timber of Pinus jeffreyi cut approximately in 70's. No other Jeffey pine near. Abies concolor and Tsuga mertensiana in back. Brush is Artemesia tridentata and Cercocapus ledifoilious in background. Prunus emarginata and Ceanothus velutinus in foreground.
