Scope and Content of Collection Father Serra congratulates Father Pangua on his appointment to superior and professes his fidelity. The letter includes a long quotation from the decree of the Commandant in regard to the administration of Confirmation, with replies from the President, a suggestion that the College rather than the President deal with the matter, and that documents have been forwarded for that purpose. Written at Monterey, California, October 24, 1780.
